Player Clubs Review: Part 2 of a 5-part series sure to inspire new Loyalty Schemes

** UPDATE: We invite you to also read additional articles of this Clubathon series:

Part #1, Part #3, Part #4Part #5

Two weeks ago we started this series with an introductory post explaining the history of the Player Clubs in U.S, bricks-and-mortar casinos. Today we’ll review a few clubs from the major Vegas brands and highlight the key differences among them. In the past we’ve had XMAS and Easter Promothons; this time we are having a Clubathon! (and no Thomas, unlike other club selection processes, your experience as a DJ doesn’t count).

In this part of our series we will be reviewing the Player Clubs of Caesars, The Venetian and Treasure Island.

Player Clubs Review: Part 1 of a 5-part series sure to inspire new Loyalty Schemes

** UPDATE: We invite you to also read additional articles of this Clubathon series:

Part #1Part #2Part #3Part #4, Part #5

Judging from the recent posts, you’d probably conclude that this blog’s focus is limited to Alcohol, Hot Girls, Dublin and how easy it is to get a senior iGaming position if you have an experience as a taxi driver and your name is Thomas. Sadly, we have to expand our discussion so that when your boss asks “Well, what the hell do you intend to do in order to improve our profits during this miserable Q3?” you top-level executives actually have an answer.

We’ll start with the classic answer of them all: Loyalty Schemes! And even better, we’ll combine that idea with a competitive analysis of the Bricks and Mortar Casinos landscape! Continue reading

#iGSS2012: The Full Monty

Hi guys – just a quick post this time, to let you know that the sexy guys from iGaming Business have published the complete video from last month’s 2012 Viewpoint Panel, held during the Dublin Super Show.

To read our own analysis of the discussion, along with links to pictures from the event and some funny jokes about Thomas and his industry leading incompetence (yes, here is the one thing he is very good at… being incompetence), please Click Here.

Career advice: Don’t get sucked into groupthink decision-making

Warning: The following article contains academic-level content with hardly any nude pictures. Proceed at your own risk …

June. The final frontier of the profitable Q2. These are voyages of the online gambling CRM managers fighting to stay awake during their Q3 mission – to explore strange new ways of irritating their customers in the summer, to seek out churned accounts and hopelessly pray for their reactivation, to boldly go where no Retention Expert has gone before (on a date with a real girl?). #iGSS2012: Viewpoint Panel Analysis

** UPDATE: for a complete video recording of the panel, please Click Here.

In addition to showing off with photos of the lifestyle of the online gambling filthy rich and notoriously famous, I actually found time at the Dublin conference to … well, work. At the time of our panel, as you would imagine, the room was packed with dozens of iGaming executives, eager for the highly anticipated debate to begin. Flattered as I was, it took me few minutes to get through them and then I realized I was in the wrong room :)

Quick reminder — the panel was structured in a viewpoint model, meaning a topic was to be debated by experts dealing in different practices of our highly moral industry. The panel participants were:

#iGSS2012 Day One: Pictures from the Event

** Have you already checked the naughty pictures from the Super Show Welcome Party?

Top of the morning to y’all – here is just a quick reminder about today’s panel at noon.

You can also read the alternative – and much funnier! – version, of me describing what can the audience expect from the open debate. You can also expect a complete summary of the event by next week.

Pictures from the #iGSS2012 Welcome Party

**  Rolling Update: Pictures from Day #1 of the Event

Democracy… Justice… Environment… and many more crucially important topics were fiercely discusses during yesterday’s kick-off event, while in the background people were involved in charity donations and giving back to the society. That’s  what you can expect when a highly moral industry celebrates. Meanwhile, back at the iGaming Super Show, we were partying like there is no conference today, splashing free drinks on each other and roaring with laughter when people were giving back to the society all they have just ate and drunk. Fantastic.

But you are here for the guided pictorial summary, so let’s begin – no point with trying to make you feel bad about yourself anyways – you have stayed back at the office, and that’s hard enough as it is… Continue reading
